IF YOU’RE TALENTED, YOU DON’T NEED VOICE LESSONS. DO YOU?
Would you ever expect an athlete or a musician not to practice?
If you’re talented, you might want to nurture your gift. Maybe you’re already perfectly on pitch, on time, you have no problem with high notes… but aren’t you curious to find out where your skills can get you?
Have you ever wonder why the greatest singers in the world still have a vocal coach of reference? Of course they don’t need to learn how to sing. But remember, our musical instrument is part of our body, and it must be kept trained (and no, singing and performing is not training, just like races are not training for athletes). But above all, your vocal folds must be kept healthy, in order to perform at their best. If you’re not sure your way of singing is healthy, if you feel hoarseness or tickle in your throat after a performance, you might want to fix it before damage your vocal folds.
